Mostly pretty good advice. Some stuff folks might not find obvious, but updating iOS may not improve battery life. Many times there are complaints that battery drain goes up significantly with each new iteration of iOS. I generally wait a week or so before updating to see what the verdict is as there really is no way to roll back an update. At least not easily.

*Bass and Treble, not Base. Thanks for the tips!

If you follow most of the ‘recommendations’
    to save the battery…
then it’s almost useless having an iphone.

These tips are great. My iPhone 5s battery barely lasts a day without being charged. I updated with a few of your recommended settings to save battery life & will be happy to see some improvements.

I hope they “fix” this on iPhone 5s or next OS release.

Agree with Yohan, if you disable location services, Siri, pushed email, etc. what’s the point of the iPhone? you may as well trade in your smart phone and revert back to a dumb phone. The tips are helpful though, cause running out of juice is hugely inconvenient, to say the least.

I never buy a new Iphone till I can jailbreak it, I never upgrade the OS till there is a jailbreak available for it! I have Battery Doctor for my phone! The battery still sucks! I wish the phone was twice as thick & the extra all battery!

I always love reading battery tips. Essentially turn off everything that you purchased the phone for. If you do all that, why not just buy an old flip phone where the battery last all week.
