ASUS Eee PC T91 Gets July 15 U.S. Release Date

Seeing the ASUS Eee PC T91 at Computex last month was a bit of a tease with no U.S. release date, but the Taiwanese company is planning to start selling its first all touch netbook here on July 15th. The $499 tablet or netvertible will be available from select retailers, but only in a limited quantity (ASUS wouldn’t actually detail what limited quantity means).
BuyDigg.com has posted the listing for the 8.9-inch Eee PC T91 which has a Intel Atom Z530 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB SSD. Check out our hands-on with the T91 a few weeks back at Computex, where we came away ultra impressed with ASUS’ TouchGate software.
For those that are holding out for the 10-inch version the Eee PC T101, there is no word of its arrival on home soil. However, according some UK sites it will be getting a release overseas at the end of the month.
