ASUS Eee PC E1004DN Official, But Not Planned for Stateside Landing

On Friday we brought you news of ASUS’ latest Eee PC E1004DN which is more than just another Eee with its built in optical drive. However, while ASUS is offically announcing the E1004DN on its Website today, according to our U.S. ASUS spokesperson the newest model is not planned for arrival in America. Separating the Eee PC  E1004DN from the rest of the 10-inch netbook crop is a  Super-Multi optical disc drive and Expresscard slot. It also will have Intel’s newest 1.66GHz Atom N280 processor.
