ASUS Eee PC 701SDX Pictures Leak; $300 Eee PC?

We are still waiting to get our hands on the $699 premium Eee PC S101, but we also wouldn’t mind pawing an Eee PC that went back to its low-cost roots.

Sascha over at EeePCNews.de was sent some pictures of the Eee PC 701SDX, which he believes to be a $300 7-Inch Eee PC. The pictures don’t reveal anything spectacular about the device, but it seems like the Eee PC 701SD the chassis has been upgraded. The only difference we see between the SDX and the SD is the X version lacks a webcam.

ASUS, can you even keep track of your own products? We surely can’t.
