Asus Eee PC 1015PN Reviewed: Ion Netbook Has Graphics Brawn, Low IQ
November 12th, 2010 by Mark Spoonauer, LAPTOP Editor in Chief The first 10-inch Nvidia Ion netbook is here! But is it worth $429? That depends on your level of patience. On the plus side, the Asus Eee PC 1015PN lets you play games like World of Warcraft, as well as HD video without the usual hiccups (complete with HDMI output). Since this machine has both Intel’s integrated graphics on board, you can even save battery life by switching between and Ion. But this process is far from seamless. Very far.
So should you get this mighty but no so brainy netbook or step up to the 12-inch, $499 1215N instead?
