I’ve gotten to the point where I can touch-type @ 85+ wpm on my old-school eeePc 701, using primarily the right shift key, and now they have to go and change it?

And yes, I’ve preordered a 1000HE.

But still.

Wow, I was on the verge of buying either the Samsung NC10 or the new Wind U120
but after looking at the specs of the new 1000HE I might just wait and get that.

The Shift key is still not above the up arrow key.

I think the shift key really matters IF you are a touch typist. I’m not, so the 1000h works great for me. I use the left shift key 99% of the time, on any keyboard. If you type the same way, you might be able to save a few bucks on the ‘h’ model.
