March 2nd, 2011 by Anna Attkisson, LAPTOP Managing Editor
It beat out Quickoffice Mobile, Evernote, Dropbox, and Dataviz Documents to Go to win the Best Productivity App category with 56.51% of the vote. Then this app went on to take down every other winner in our 16 category competition to be named your favorite app of all (with 39.1% of the vote). So we’re pleased to announce that, according to your votes, the Appscar winner is . . . LogMeIn Ignition as the Best Overall App.
This app allows you to control your Mac or PC, including all your programs and files, by a touch of a mobile device. This app can also be used to offer IT assistance to those far away.
