Android Caught Sneaking Into iPhone 3G
May 7th, 2010 by Marc Flores
Does the iPhone seem like the perfect piece of hardware to you, but you find yourself more fond of the openness of Android? Well, today is your lucky day because Android has just been injected into the iPhone 3G. Although we’ve already seen it running on the iPhone 2G, or the EDGE version, Android is now finding its way onto newer versions of the Apple handset. Of course, things work a little differently since you don’t have the dedicated Android buttons you find on every Android handset, but it’s a fun novelty for now.
There are some features, like audio, which aren’t working at the moment, but David Wong, the hacker behind this feat, is working on getting everything up and running properly soon. Look on and drool for now, and hope that soon you’ll be able to get Android running on your iPhone if you’re so inclined.
