		<description>Actually the eee PC 900 series WILL seem to be faster than the earlier 701 eee&#039;s because while the CPU&#039;s are identical, the 701&#039;s were underclocked from 900 MHz to somewhere in the 600-650 MHz range to enhance battery life.  

It&#039;d be really interesting to hear what sized battery the gentleman received with his Taiwanese exported eee 900, if his warrantee is valid, and if there is a way to underclock the 900 [easily] to enhance battery life.

Perhaps if you&#039;re still in contact with the fellow, you could ask?
