Alienware Adds M18x And Updated M11x Along With M14x

Hot on the heels of our Alienware M14x review comes news that Alienware is also releasing the M18x and a refreshed version of the M11x. All of these models feature SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports and HDMI 1.4 for outputting 3D to HDTVs, plus they have Alienware’s fun customizable lighting schemes.

The M18x is dubbed the “most powerful 18-inch gaming laptop in the universe” and will include an exclusive Intel Core i7 Extreme processor option that can be overclocked to 4GHz. This desktop replacement will also have dual graphics technology, wireless HD streaming, and a 3D option. While very close in size to the perfect Alienware M17x, the M18x isn’t meant to replace that powerhouse.

The Alienware M11x has been a favorite of ours in the past and the refreshed version of this 11-inch mobile pwn machine will include second generation Intel Core i processors, updated graphics courtesy of the Nvidia GeForce GT 450M, and optional WiMax mobile broadband capability. It’s also now available in the sexy Nebula Red that the M14x comes in.
