Aircell Offers Monthly Subscriptions for GoGo In-Flight Wi-Fi, Airline Choice Doesn’t Matter
April 8th, 2010 by Dana Wollman
Today, Aircell, the company behind GoGo, whose in-flight Wi-Fi systems are becoming ubiquitous, announced that travelers can purchase monthly subscriptions for $34.95. Conveniently, consumers can use them on any of the 800-plus planes equipped with GoGo Wi-Fi, regardless of the airline.
You can purchase a subscription through the in-flight portal, meaning you have to first log into the in-flight Wi-Fi system without a monthly pass. Know that the subscription renews automatically, so if you’re not that frequent a traveler, a 30-day or single-day pass ($4.95) might still be a smarter buy.
Monthly subscriptions to GoGo are available now. GoGo is available on all AirTran Airways and Virgin America flights, and select Air Canada, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, US Airways, and United Airlines routes.
