Acer’s TravelMate 8371, 8471 and 8571 Go After Small Biz With Different Screen Sizes

If you’re looking for a small business notebook, Acer has you covered, thanks to its three new TravelMate notbeooks, whose screens run the gamut from 13.3 to 14.1 to 15.6 inches. Although they vary in size, each promises a similar set of specs, and are similarly priced ($899-$999). In size order, the TravelMate 8371, 8471, and 8571 cost $899, $919, and $999. Across the board, features include 64-bit Windows 7 Professional, Intel Core 2 Duo processor options, up to 4GB of RAM, six-cell batteries, fingerprint readers, multi-touch trackpads, wireless-N radios, Bluetooth, and integrated Intel graphics. All three notebooks are available now. The 13.3-inch 8371 costs $899; the 14.1-inch 8471, $919; and the 15.6-inch 8571, $999.
