Acer Rolls Out More Notebooks: 13.3-inch Aspire 3935, 18.4-inch Aspire 8935G

Looks like Acer’s notebook team hasn’t been getting much shut eye lately. On the heels of major announcements last week of its new Timeline notebooks and its Aspire One netbooks, the company today announced U.S. availability of the thin-and-light Aspire 3935-650 and the next generation in its Gemstone notebook like, the Aspire 8935G. The Acer Aspire 3935-6504 looks to be one stylish and slim notebook and at $899 it is very price competitive. At less than inch thick it weighs only 4.18 pounds and has a brushed aluminum lid. Under the hood its 1366×768  resolution 13.3-inch frameless display should be plenty sweet on the eyes. The 3935-6504 is powered by a Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and integrated graphics – Intel GMA 4500MHD. The Aspire 3935-6405 notebook PC should go on sale today. Stay tuned for our full review in the next few days. Acer is also introducing the 18.4 inch Aspire 8935G which is the next generation in its Gemstone line. Maintaining the same chassis, it is equipped with a Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and discrete ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 graphics. Geared for multimedia enthusiasts, the Aspire 8935G provides full high definition viewing on its widescreen 1920×1080 display and a Blu-Ray optical drive. The Aspire 8935G will be available in June 2009.
