Acer Offers Up Four New Aspire Notebooks with WiMax

Acer has been busy gearing up for the Centrino 2 launch, and today announced four new notebooks that will be added to their Aspire line. All equipped with Intel’s latest processor technology and WiMax functionality, the notebooks range from a 12.1-inch ultraportable to a 17-inch multimedia entertainment powerhouse.

Built on Acer’s shiny blue Gemstone design, the 12.1-inch Aspire 2930 sports integrated 3D graphics with a wide aspect screen for extra viewing pleasure. Its compact size and WiMax functionality make it perfect for the multimedia maven on the go.

The Aspire 4930 offers a 14.1-inch CrystalBrite panel with NVIDIA GeForce graphics. Boasting second-generation Dolby Home Theater and an HDMI interface, the 4930 provides high-quality sights and sounds.

Another Gemstone design, the Aspire 5930 offers a big multimedia experience with its 15.4-inch wide aspect screen and optional Blu-ray drive. NVIDIA GeForce graphics and support for NVIDIA PureVideo HD Technology offer high-resolution gaming and stellar picture quality.

Last but not least, the big Aspire 7730 sports a 17-inch screen with plenty of extras. With Intel’s Wireless WiFi Link 5100/5300, optional Blu-Ray drive, and discreet graphics, it’s the ultimate in entertainment and connectivity.
