I got my Glyde (refresh) a couple of days ago. I absolutely love it.The size is perfect, looks good, the touch screen is awesome, the camera is great ( I love the flash) . Glad they fixed the problems this phone model was having. I am so glad I chose the Glye instead of the voyager ( that was my other choice) way too big for my liking.

okay so i have the razor. its a great working ophone but i hate it because im sick of it. im either getting the palm, the glyde, the envy2, or the voyager. immm thinking voyager after so many7 peoples problems with the glyde!? which onee?

I got the Glyde for FREE with a 2yr Verizon contract. They still wanted $79 for a 2yr contract on the Voyager. Though I prefer LG phones, I think it was worth it for a free phone. No problems as of yet either.

This phone used to be awful. key phrase there, though, is used to be. since the new firmware update (take it to any vzw store and they’ll upgrade it for you) this phone is a million times better. as far as i can tell, they took the old coding and threw it out the window and started from scratch. the touch screen is 10 times more responsive and accurate, the phone hasn’t frozen once since i got it back, the shortcut menu is completely revamped, the screen lock is redone… this phone rocks now. don’t get me wrong, i still wouldn’t say it is better than a voyager, but with the new price point ($70 with contract online) it isn’t really a phone to be compared to the voyager. it’s closer to an enV or similar messaging phones. honestly, i can’t ask for a better price for a touch screen phone that funcions correctly with everything it is supposed to do.
my only complaints are that the screen is a little small for my liking (what with my sausage-like fingers and all) and it could have a little louder speaker in it. other than that, though, it works great as a messaging phone with a touch screen to boot!

The WORSE phone EVER, it cuts off when it wants to. The phone presses buttons just sitting there unattended. When i press a button it presses something else! My screen has went blank TWICE! The screen freezes about 20 times a day, leaving me to power it on and off over and over. I sometimes find myself beating on the screen because it does not work properly!! I HATE IT. Dont let them convince you to get a “system upgrade”, that does not help!!!

screw the samsung glyde i just got it today to replace my voyager and im calling rite now to have it exchanged. EVERYTHING ks said was true and im sick of using it after only an hour!!!! no way im keeping this phone. FUCK this peice of shit phone. im SOO pissed

This is hands-down the worst phone I’ve ever had. The problems started on day one and it was all downhill from there. The touch screen is unresponsive, when I try to press one icon it pushes something else — over and over again. Making calls is extraordinarily difficult as the phone has tremendous difficulty registering my touch-screen directions. Half of the time, I can’t even get it to work at all. While typing next messages it sometimes just moves the cursor without prompting — over and over. I bought this phone under the assumption that it would make texting easier, I was sorely mistaken.

The worst part is verizon tricked me into signing a two-year contract with them in exchange for this “free” phone. The old bait and switch.

I wouldn’t wish this piece of shit on my worst enemy. This phone is an embarrassment to both Verizon and Samsung, I nearly threw it out the window of my tenth-floor office building this afternoon.

I hav the voyager and have used the glyde. The voyager is better i had to make a desiscion inbetween the enV2 voyager or glyde. At christmas time the glyde the voyager was in the middle and the enV2 wuz the cheapest. I ruled out the enV2. The glyde can not be navigated from the keyboard the touch screen sux. It cant read the txt messages 2 u like the voyager. I know several people that have it. I hav used theres and went to a verizon store where the voyager and glyde were activated and compared them i even sent a txt 2 myself and a friend with them. So I picked the voyager. If you’re dumb enough to want this phone it’s being discontinued my friend wants to get it and they said it was being discontinued. So you realloy dont hav a choice anymore but apparently something better than the glyde is coming out soon so keep an eye out for that. P.S. VOYAGER TOUCH SCREEN IS 1000000X BETTER XCEPT WEN U NEED 2 SCROLL.
