A Mod Too Far?
December 9th, 2008 by K. T. Bradford I have a not-so-secret thing for steampunk gadgets, especially technology mods. Steampunk desktops, laptops, USB drives — bring it on, I love ‘em. But I have to admit, this mod does not appeal to me at all:
It’s a nicely-designed steampunk mouse but with — shudder — actual mouse bones incorporated in it. The skull is under the ribcage-looking bit that is crowned with a mouse spine. Not only is that gross, but it also looks painful. I don’t want bits of mouse spine lodged in my palm, thanks. Oh modders, you’ll do anything for attention, won’t you? (And hey, it’s working.)
