Electronics always make awesome gifts for dads. I know I’m counting on a new phone to upgrade my ancient clamshell.

My dad actually told me what he wanted for father’s day – cheeky bugger. Although, when I first pushed aside all the feelings of dread when he told me he knew exactly what phone he wanted, I was surprised by his modest request: A Tracfone SVC phone. I was almost taken aback a bit. There I was thinking he was wanting one of the smarty smart phones, with apps, and yearly subscriptions. No, he only wanted a basic senior cellphone. He told me him and my mom were planning a little trip across the state, and for that they thought it prude to get a mobile. Thank goodness – one times son relieved. It’s going ot cost me $15.
