5 Ways to Make the HTC One a Hit and Smack Samsung
3. Choose a More Memorable Slogan
I would wager that if you uttered the following words to most smartphone shoppers—“The Next Big Thing Is Already Here”—9 out of 10 of them would know that the brand is Samsung. It also doesn't hurt that Samsung has the budget to hire the likes of Paul Rudd and Seth Rogen. Do you remember HTC's tagline from last year? Me neither. No, I'm not a marketing expert, but I do think HTC needs to emphasize the One product name more. As in, “There's Only One.” And I would use that phrase as a jumping off point. There's only one phone that shoots Ultrapixels. There's only one phone that changes the way you watch TV. There's only one phone that sounds like this. You get the picture. I think it works.

>The HTC One is the first smartphone ever that can double as a TV remote out of the box without a third-party
>accessory.
Not so; the Nokia N900 had an infrared port.

I totally agree on every point, very good prospective. In my honest opinion they should pay you and usr this buisness model.. LOL..matter of fact I’m about to write HTC about it now! I love HTC. I’ve been along side then since the touchpro..had the tp2, hero, EVO 4g, EVO 3d, EVO 4g LTE…n soon to be the ONE. It kills me to see there failure and the success of no where near as quality products because of stupid marketing to people who are brainwashed into believing a certain brand is best because of huge marketing of gimmicky features.. cough cough Samsung/Apple….

And 1st commenter Joseph…His phrase is totally correct. The Nokia n900 may have had an infrared port, but it wasn’t able to double as a tv remote out of the box or without the help of a third party app…I believe the one used on n900 was irreco and pierogi.
