Just type usb modem into google and you will find lots of modems that work on a usb port.

Purchased the laptop on the 15th and had to return it on the 27th. Was surfing the web and it cut completely off. Took it back to Wal Mart and they said that the power cord had a defect in it. I just 13 days. How could it have a defect or go out that quickly. I enjoyed it for the time that I had it. Wonder how many more will go out?

I just got one of these a couple of days ago and installed Slackware Linux on it immediately. I like it; it’s fast enough, and (I think)it’s a crazy deal for the price.

I just got out of the US Army (after six years) and I bought the Toshiba to start college. On the limited income I have, the L355-S7915 works just fine. It is not heavy and fits in my backpack. The battery lasts about 2 1/2 hours so I carry the charger with me

What if you want to use it to edit photos, play music (how are the speakers), read downloadable books, communicate with skype over the internet (no webcam) and how does it measure up in terms of weight (to carry around) and speed? How many USB ports?

I like the casing. The rest of the specs are mediocre as far as laptops go. It seems like a model that wasn’t selling, so they dropped the price to get it off their shelves.
