A couple of fun games knocked into an otherwise crummy list. Come on, if people are reading about the best apps they don’t want to have Facebook as an option, they want new ideas.

  2. Andyc1110 Says:

Facebook? One of the best apps? Only if you don’t mind it crashing every 10 minutes. Considering the wealth and resources of this company, the app is very unstable.

  3. JR Says:

Your site is terrible. It took me a while to figure out that I had to click the orange/yellow “arrow” to navigate.

This list sucks big time, no new apps, no new games, facebook? Twitter?

  6. Boring Says:

Seriously!?? You have Linkedln and facebook as one of your top 25? I think this is probably your best 25 apps for bringing in advertising revenue for laptopmag.com. What a dull and uninteresting list

  7. Kelli Says:

    This sucks….

Mint is a great idea, but a horrible implementation. Just a sampling of the problems I’ve had:

    1. In a year, they’ve never managed access to my largest asset, my brokerage account (National Financial Services, hardly an obscure organization).

    2. The login screen disappeared on my mac. This was “a software bug, and we don’t know when we’ll get around to fixing it.”

    3. For a couple of months, they were picking up my check numbers as the check amount. Seeing all those $3,000 checks almost gave me a heart attack.

    4. They send you notices like “You spent $5,000 on Internet in the last 30 days, but when you click through to the site, there’s no such thing.

As best as I remember, tech support never solved any of the problems I brought to them. After a couple of rounds of email, they just fade away.

Forget Mint.com. I’m switching to “Check,” an iPad app, but I haven’t been there long enough to comment.
