11 Tastiest Features of Android Ice Cream Sandwich
Ice Cream Sandwich offers significant upgrades to the OS's Camera app, including continuous focus and zero shutter lag exposure. Google also pumped up the shutter control speed, so you can shoot one photo after the next with no delay between shots. You'll also be able to take quick screen grabs of videos--even those recorded at full video resolution--by tapping the screen as the video records.
A new face detection feature will automatically locate faces in your shot and focus in on them. You can also use the new tap-to-focus option to zoom in on any part of the frame you'd like by tapping the location on your screen.
One of the best enhancements to the Camera app is the single-motion panorama mode. Using this option you can capture a large panoramic image by moving the camera slowly from left to right in front of you. New photo editing options let you quickly remove red-eye, crop, rotate, and add effects to your images.

Great post and really interesting to see how Google are evolving Android. The usability of Android Honeycomb for a non-techie user is the thing that has held Android tablets back compared to the slick nature of iOS on the iPad. Hopefully Ice Cream Sandwich will resolve a lot of those issue whilst still allowing a technically minded user the opportunity to configure the OS as they like.

Can ice cream in these new phones synchronize with Outlook without jumping through hoops?

“The usability of Android Honeycomb for a non-techie user is the thing that has held Android tablets back compared to the slick nature of iOS…”
Android CAN be used as a simple app launcher if people want to. All the other features that makes it “too complicated for non-techie users” like widgets, live wallpaper, etc. are entirely OPTIONAL.

I’ve been using HTC Incredible for almost 23 years and these are pretty much standard features with the HTC Sense. I’m not really impressed with any of these other than upgraded camera options.
