Ever since Steve Jobs pulled the original MacBook Air out of an envelope, Windows laptop makers have been trying to beat the thinnest, lightest notebook in town. Enter the Samsung Series 9.
This is a beautifully crafted machine. It's made mostly from a metal called duralumin, which up until now has only been used in aircraft construction. It's lighter and thinner than the 13-inch Air. Unlike Apple's machine, though, the edges aren't straight and sharp, but include welcome arches and curves.
