10 Best Apps for Your New Tablet
Tablets don’t come with a ton of storage, so leave more room on your device for apps and media content by leveraging the cloud for other files. Once you set up Dropbox on your PC, the app makes it easy to access all of your most important documents, photos and videos on the go. You can also edit docs stored in your Dropbox with compatible apps (like QuickOffice HD) and then save them or share them via a link. No attachments required. The latest version for the iPad also offers improved video streaming. Dropbox gives you 2GB of storage for free, but you can get up to 3GB more for free if you choose to automatically save photos and videos to Dropbox that you shoot with your tablet.Free

Thank you for the great ideas, Mark. I got a new Nexus 7 at a Christmas party we had in my office at DISH last week. Now I am looking for a few good apps. I think that OfficePro HD will come in handy at work and Evernote looks like a useful app too. I would like to recommend #11 for your list. It’s called the DISH Remote Access app, and it streams live TV channels or recordings from my Hopper DVR to my tablet. It works anywhere I can get a good internet connection. I have secretly been using it to pass the time when things get a little slow around the office!

I prefer the Kindle Fire HD. The interface is amazing and it’s very easy to use. It’s a great combination of functional and simple. Check out its Amazon page(http://bit.ly/S1CzWe) if you want to compare what they bring to the table.
