10 Best Apps for Your New Tablet

Evernote (Android, iPad)

The more we have to do, the more we have to remember. Evernote helps you stay organized and on track. The app lets you take notes and create to-do lists, as well as capture photos and record voice reminders. Premium subscribers ($5 per month) can access their notebooks offline. The redesigned iPad version saves time with the ability to create notes with a click via the new Quick Note button and a Recent Notes list for easier multitasking. Prefer to write your notes with a pen? Try the Livescribe Sky WiFi Smartpen ($149), which syncs your scribbles and audio notes directly to Evernote.

Thank you for the great ideas, Mark. I got a new Nexus 7 at a Christmas party we had in my office at DISH last week. Now I am looking for a few good apps. I think that OfficePro HD will come in handy at work and Evernote looks like a useful app too. I would like to recommend #11 for your list. It’s called the DISH Remote Access app, and it streams live TV channels or recordings from my Hopper DVR to my tablet. It works anywhere I can get a good internet connection. I have secretly been using it to pass the time when things get a little slow around the office!

I prefer the Kindle Fire HD. The interface is amazing and it’s very easy to use. It’s a great combination of functional and simple. Check out its Amazon page(http://bit.ly/S1CzWe) if you want to compare what they bring to the table.
